It's hard to get my fuming mad. Really. The times when I have gotten angry before in my whole life can even be counted with my one hand. And now, I'm angry at someone, that I don't even know. So what exactly happened? I suspected some dirty, low J1 spoiled Alistair's E string. And what's even worst than that, this SOB put it back into my guitar casing as if nothing has happened. I found my guitar casing on the other side of the wall near my class bench and voila, my first string is all mushed up with springy coils resembling an immature morning glory. I don't really mind if people borrowed my guitar, minded a bit if a FOAF (friend of a friend) borrowed it and minded a little it more if a stranger borrowed it. But if you do harm to Alistair and my loved property, you all so dead. For a moment, I feel like zipping up that guy's zipper halfway while he's doing his personal business at the cubicle. Suddenly I feel like this whole thing gave me a reason to kill.

Argh. Now I understand how Augustus Caesar entrusted his 3 elite legions (20,000-25,000) to Varus and how Varus took only one battle (Battle of Teutoberg) to get them all wiped out in a single Germanic ambush. Took the personality test on Astuka's blog to see whether my results will differ in anyway from last year's. Well, apparently not. Can't expect to change so much in one year hmm.

NTPs are pensive, analytical folks. They may venture so deeply into thought as to seem detached, and often actually are oblivious to the world around them.

Precise about their descriptions, INTPs will often correct others (or be sorely tempted to) if the shade of meaning is a bit off. While annoying to the less concise, this fine discrimination ability gives INTPs so inclined a natural advantage as, for example, grammarians and linguists.

INTPs are relatively easy-going and amenable to most anything until their principles are violated, about which they may become outspoken and inflexible. They prefer to return, however, to a reserved albeit benign ambiance, not wishing to make spectacles of themselves.

Mathematics is a system where many INTPs love to play, similarly languages, computer systems--potentially any complex system. INTPs thrive on systems. Understanding, exploring, mastering, and manipulating systems can overtake the INTP's conscious thought. This fascination for logical wholes and their inner workings is often expressed in a detachment from the environment, a concentration where time is forgotten and extraneous stimuli are held at bay. Accomplishing a task or goal with this knowledge is secondary.

INTPs and Logic -- One of the tipoffs that a person is an INTP is her obsession with logical correctness. Errors are not often due to poor logic -- apparent faux pas in reasoning are usually a result of overlooking details or of incorrect context.

Games NTs seem to especially enjoy include Risk, Bridge, Stratego, Chess, Go, and word games of all sorts. (I have an ENTP friend that loves Boggle and its variations. We've been known to sit in public places and pick a word off a menu or mayonnaise jar to see who can make the most words from its letters on a napkin in two minutes.) The INTP mailing list has enjoyed a round of Metaphore, virtual volleyball, and a few 'finish the series' brain teasers.

INTPs in the main are not clannish. The INTP mailing list, with a readership now in triple figures, was in its incipience fraught with all the difficulties of the Panama canal: we had trouble deciding on:

1) whether or not there should be such a group,

2) exactly what such a group should be called, and

3) which of us would have to take the responsibility for organization and maintenance of the aforesaid group/club/whatever.

Somehow I still hate the personality test to categorise people in specific types. Maybe my results are dependent on my mood.

Sorry for the lack of entries, especially in the holidays, hehe. Holidays can be a fun period for some people or a dull time-wasting opportunity for people....like me. Okay, I have my exact share of fun but things can get increasingly boring-er when you find yourself doing routine jobs everyday. Like waking up at 1pm. Skip breakfast, eat lunch. Surf people's blogs on a routine basis. I don't mind telling you guys about my blog routine :p. Class blog -> Wenjie -> CheeJia -> Jiahao -> Wensi -> Kwang guan -> Lionel Lee -> Alvin voon voon -> Adrian/ Jane. Bwahaha. Spaces blogs aren't included because I click on them when there's a shiny yellow mark there hehe. There's also those whom I am sworn to secrecy not to reveal. There there, I admit I'm kind of a voyeur :). But there's a voyeur in each and every one of us and I happened to be one who dares to admit it. Oolala. Alright, I'm straying a little bit from what I'm going to do in this post. I'm going to do the quiz from Wensi's blog...here I go:

#1. Are you a chinese or english freako?
I don't know...I'm pretty much in between but more to the chinese side hehe. I'm raised in a Mandarin-speaking family and to tell me to switch camps in a snap is pretty impossible hehe. But as I grow up, I tend to use English more...I think? I only listen to English / Japanese songs and I wouldn't know about mandarin ones unless JH / Wenjie send me hehe. Another reason I tend to listen more to English ones because...mandarin ones contain a lot...like 70% or maybe 90% love songs? :x Wahahaha!!! Don't flame me!

#2. If time is going to stop; what would you possibly do for that time?
I'm going to pee and then watch my pee freeze in mid-air. Hahahahahaha!!!! Reminds me of Galven's picture. Anything you do on the toilet bowl works. Seriously, I think I would try to remember all the good times...and hope my thoughts can stay like that for some time. Hehe, I have short-term memory :D

#3. Prefer a playpool or playground?
I prefer playpool. I enjoy diving, treading water. But if the water's not deep enough...I'm fine with it too. Can challenge each other to keeping the longest breath underwater :p. And you don't get accused of being too old to use it :). Playpool people are all young at heart.

#4. Do you usually gossip others; or being gossiped?
Treat others like how you want them to treat you. Of course, sometimes people take things for granted and stab you in the back now and then. You just have to forgive them instead of gossiping back. I don't believe in tit for tat. Yeah, I don't gossip about others so I'm probably being gossiped. But then, people tell me in my face all the time so I have no problem with it :)

#5. Do you like simple or complicated stuff?
Simple...mostly I guess. I'm not really into micro-ing in RTS games. Yay I click alot.

#6. Do you tackle numbers better; or alphabets?
I can't express my thoughts clearly, so I don't like alphabets and words a lot. I believe actions speak louder than words. Yeah, so when the male lead in a movie says something cheesy to impress the girl of his dream, I will kind of feel uncomfortable. I like numbers a lot...lol...I think I'm the only person here who have favourite numbers. I like 4, 7, 8, 23, 24, 26, 58, 72...and hmm some more. I tend to associate and remember people using numbers and colours too. I think I told some of my closer friends hehe.

#7. What makes you pissed off?
I haven't gotten pissed for a long time. Either I have a problem with hormonal imbalance and I don't have enough testosterone or people just don't try hard enough to get me pissed off. Don't think any person will do anything that evil anyway. I'm just kind of a numb...cold kind of person. I try not to get others pissed though. TRY.

#8. How’s your childhood?
Happy :). I did more nonsensical stuff when I am way younger and I hope I can always stay that young at heart. It's the way with people I guess. As people grow older, they try to act younger. And young people always try to act matured. Ah...the beauty of older women...

#9. Do you have inspiration without perspiration?
Um...inspirations come as they want...you can't force it just like that. Scientifically speaking, we are perspiring all the time so you're lying if you're not. Tra-la-la-la.

#10. Do you think 24hours is too long, short or just okay?
A little bit short. Women live longer than men thus all men shall be granted ETA. LOL!

#11. Would you judge people by their appearance?
Not really but you can tell what people do by their faces...sometimes. Like some people have a cheena face, some people have an angmoh face, some people have a mathnscience face, some people have no face...HAHAHA! But personality-wise, no, so I don't judge people by that.

#12. What is attractive in your eyes?
Enthusiastic...lively...but maintain some sort of quiet side...and the good qualities..filial piety, loyalty...patriotic ah...not too much.

#13. Do you like day or night, explain why?
Night. I'm like a sloth in the afternoon. I'm particularly active in the night :). Also there's no family squabbles...just pure silence.

#14. Do you treasure stuffs that you own, or have insatiable desires?
I'm contented with what I have now. People wanting to buy plush toys...showing off their handphones...branded stuff are not my kind of thing. I guess it's because of people like me that there are market failures.

#15. If your computer hanged up; with a long long document not being saved; how would you react?
Er. Restart the computer, go to the same folder and check for any temporary files there. Temporary files are always hidden though so enable it through folder options. Otherwise, I will search my computer for .asd temp doc files and open it one by one. Tedious but worth a try unless your Microsoft Word doesn't have AutoRecover...which is highly unlikely. If everything else fails, do it tomorrow morning I guess.

#16. Do you believe in miracles? Or was it longed predestined?
Uh huh. But I don't shou3 zhu1 dai4 tu4.

#17. Do you often tend to forget the past; or trying hard to do so?
I try to remember most of it, given my STM. Why forget about the past? We are here today because of the decisions we made in the past.

#18. In your mind, why colours are out there?
Because we need a term to define people like Lionel Lee and Samuel Tan.

#19. Have you ever pitied those who are real pitiful; and shed tears for them; etc?
Pitied, yes. But no shedding of tears.

#20. Describe yourself as in attitude?
Kind of complacent..lay-back attitude, open-minded, mostly optimistic but I get mood swings but I dun emo a lot. I'm loyal to my friends, hate gossipers...may look unapproachable at first lol. I sound like I am advertising myself on Friendster omg.

#21. Do you suddenly lose the grasp of hope to survive as yet?
Well...I don't mind dying. But there's still lots of stuff for me to do while I'm living.

#22. Give 3 advantages when you get to live?
1. You get to wiggle your toes.
2. You get to die. But you can't choose to live when you're dead :)
3. PAP gets another vote.

#23. What is your ambition in life?
I don't have any huge ambition. If I could, travel the world and help the poor/improvished people...do God's work. Money helps too. Don't die before 30.

#24. Do you believe in horoscope etc?
I read it sometime for fun's sake. Don't really believe in these kinds of stuff.

#25. Describe music in your life.
eVERY bOY gIRL dISLIKE aEROBIC eXERCISE.

I don't know.

There's always the other side to everything. That's what I've always believed in. Yet, there are always people who are adamant in their beliefs and such. I have a friend who believes that all Muslims and anybody linked to the religion are inherently evil. I wouldn't say it's a flawed judgment, but it's too quick to decide.
